The Lębork police detained a man suspected of beating a 22-year-old and seriously injuring him. The 24-year-old was arrested by a court decision for three months.
The police detained the second of the men suspected of beating a 22-year-old from Lębork, which took place in June in a square in Łeba.
– One of the perpetrators hit the victim on the head, which caused the victim to fall to the ground. Then the second perpetrator started kicking him in the stomach and chest. The 22-year-old was helped by a witness who called an ambulance. The man with very serious internal injuries, threatening his life, was taken to the hospital – said in a press release the aspirant Marta Szałkowska from the headquarters in Lębork.
The 24-year-old was detained near the train station PKP in Lębork.

“The attention of the uniformed men was caught by the nervous behavior of a man trying to hide from them. The policemen did not let him escape. During the ID cards, they confirmed that he was a 24-year-old citizen of Lębork wanted for the case” – it was written in the press release.
The collected evidence made it possible to present to the detainee a charge of causing serious damage to health in the form of a truly life-threatening disease, for which he or she is threatened with up to three years imprisonment.
The court granted the prosecutor’s request and placed the 24-year-old under temporary arrest for three months.
The first suspected of beating the 22-year-old was detained two days after the incident.
She is a 19-year-old girl from Lębork. The man heard the charge of violation of the activities of an organ of the body, a crime punishable by five years’ imprisonment.
